Today I’m starting ‘The Art Every Day Challenge’ as created by Leah Piken Kolidas who says:

“I encourage people to make something every day, but my goal is to foster more creativity, so if you make just one piece of art per week or just one for the whole month, that’s fine with me. The idea is to bring more creativity into your life, not to make you feel overwhelmed, pressured or guilt-stricken.” You will find the details here.

I’m not sure whether I’ll actually be able to create something everyday as I’ll be away from home for at least 4 days but it will be a good exercise in doing something even when I don’t feel like it.

If I get stuck for ideas I’ll use the prompts from the ‘Fall Fearless and Fly‘ challenge and some other links I’ve collected recently. I’m also planning on making some dice (thanks to Caroline Dube for the inspiration) to generate some random combinations of instructions to get the creative juices flowing. More on that later!

Today I worked on a canvas I’ve started for Challenge 3 of The Fall Fearless and Fly Challenge which you can see by clicking the link.  I also added some orange to a plywood board I’m experimenting on.
