Oh My Goodness! I am sooooooooo tired. I was just about to admit defeat with my 30 posts in 30 days experiment and then I remembered I took a photo of a gin cocktail yesterday. I took it in jest saying “I suppose I should photograph that since so many bloggers seem to post photographs of their food and drink”. Little did I realise it would keep me in the experiment for another day.
This is my gin cocktail which my brother bought me when we sneaked away from “Ask A Philosopher” leaving my sister-in-law to soak in all the info about Socrates and Plato. It was a talk that was part of the Brighton Fringe Festival but I was more interested in hanging out in the pretty garden and drinking this very yummy concoction.
We had a very fun afternoon and evening sitting in the sun, visiting buildings, going to a Comedy show, eating a lovely Thai meal and then listening to live music in a pub on the way home. Phew. Busy, busy.
Then . . . up we got this morning and, fortified with a lovely cooked breakfast, we went to some Open Houses, walked to Brighton Station to meet my niece, walked to the beach and hung out in the sun, had fish and chips and then joined a 2 hour walking tour of the secret passage ways of Brighton.
Now I’m home, about to eat dinner. Guests have left and I’m really looking forward to putting my feet up.
Where ever you are in the world I can thoroughly recommend making the effort to get yourself to the Brighton Fringe Festival which takes place every May. There’s something for everyone. You can be totally spontaneous and be guaranteed a good time.
